If greater magnification is needed what was always helpful to me is Mricron.
You can open the anatomical image and add your T statistical image (several images) as an overlay (overlays). Also you can open other window and open there any available anatomy atlas image (there are few incorporated in MRIcroN). Use option Yoke in the View menu and it will synchronize the position of cross-hair in all your windows.
There is indeed no substitute of good knowledge of neuroanatomy. Otherwise one is always at risk for making embarrassing mistakes.
