Thanks for the debugging output, I've found the problem. You have an old FSL install in /usr/local that doesn't contain a key file that the installer looks for (fslversion). Without this it refuses to move the old version out of the way. I've just released a new version of the installer that will instead move the old FSL install to 'fsl-0.0.0' in this scenario, rather than rely on you intervening and removing the bad copy of FSL (which it failed to tell you was the problem!). Now, the install will complete and the old version will be retained in this '0.0.0' folder.
If you run the installer again it should automatically update itself and then carry out an install.
