Dear All,

I have been talking to various people about how we might make the User Group a bit more focused
and Paul and I have come up with a suggestion for how the day might run - but I would like your feedback to see if this would be productive/useful to all members of the group. It’s not very different but see what you think.

The morning would be, as usual, representatives from SSL talking about new developments, news etc. and then a couple of interesting presentations on projects users have been working on.

In addition SSL requested the chance to discuss new business models and how they work with us - which is a topic that has repeatedly come up. We also thought that they should have a chance to properly respond to and discuss the points we raised at the last meeting.

In the afternoon I wondered if we could manage separate groups to discuss issues, developments and projects relating to particular products (MI+, BI+, II+ Asset Index etc etc) – would this be useful?

I would be really grateful if you could give me an indication of what your preferred group/product/area of interest would be, just to make sure that everyone doesn’t just want to discuss MI+. I am hoping that we might have someone from System Sim to represent each product. We could come together at the end to have our usual general discussion and agree any points that need to be taken forward.

Thanks

Ananda
