Missing People is pleased that bookings are now open for the 1st International Conference on Missing Children and Adults 'Working Across Borders', being held at the University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth UK from the 18 -20 June 2013. The conference will be partnered by Missing People, CEOP, UK Missing Persons Bureau and the Centre for the Study of Missing Persons.
It promises to be an interesting and informative conference, with a number of key sessions already confirmed including:
- Child Rescue Alert
- Updates to ACPO Guidance
- The relationship between police and the families of missing people
- Missing person risk assessment
Other topics include Search and Rescue, child sexual exploitation, mental health and missing, and missing abroad.
