Sublet available: of a two-bedroom apartment on Paradise Street, Cambridge UK
From mid-June to mid-August, dates negotiable
£190 per week all inclusive (including all utilities and council tax
etc), with the exception of long-distance calls!
The flat is in the Kite District, about 10 minutes by foot from the
New Museums and Downing sites, about 15-20 minutes by foot from the
Sidgwick Site and Cambridge University Library. It is near several
grocery stores, and almost adjacent to the Grafton Centre.
The building was renovated about five years ago. For the historians of
medicine among you, the building was renovated by the descendant of
George Scott Williamson (1884-1953), one of the initiators of the
"Peckham Experiment".
The apartment is on the second floor and has plenty of natural light.
It is quite cool in the summer. There are two bedrooms (one double,
one single), an open kitchen/living room (with a fridge-freezer, a
washing machine and a dishwasher), and a bathroom (toilet, bath-tub
and great water pressure and temperature). The apartment is fully
furnished and has a great WiFi connection.
