Dear Colleagues,
Calling those who teach Medical Sociology
I'm writing in my capacity as Book Reviews Editor for Medical Sociology Online. I'd like to publish a set of reviews of recently revised medical sociology textbooks and the following are available - subject to agreement to writing a piece for the journal (around 800 words):
Cockerham, William C. - Social Causes of Health & Disease, 2nd edition
Howson, Alexandra - The Body in Society, 2nd edition
Nettleton, Sarah - The Sociology of health & Illness, 3rd edition.
Please contact me if you might be willing to review one - or more than one - of these books. If there are any other recently published textbooks that you would like to review for this issue, please let me know and I can order review copies.
