Hi there friends
The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology (University College London) is developing a new public web experience that will showcase the magic of our world-class, but somewhat hidden, collection. The website is intended to be a rich multimedia environment perhaps with some video, interactive maps, a timeline and will certainly feature 3D digital models of key objects. We are scoping it all out now.
We are keen to work with a strong and thoughtful design team. Part of the deal would be to work with UCL's development standards for the incumbent CMS, Silva. UCL would likely do the template build and any functional work, so close collaboration is essential. Specialist functional development work might be given to the design agency if it made sense.
Recommendations of small creative outfits would be much appreciated.
Many thanks, Mike
