in contributing to their Global Forum for partnerships on Media and
Information Literacy. There is a short survey on their website at the

Colleagues, UNESCO is surveying institutions and organizations worldwide
in order to identify those which are either already involved in, or are
interested in learning more about the Media and Information Literacy
(MIL) initiative which they have been very actively advocating so that
UNESCO thereby can have a better idea of the overall MIL situation, and
also can prepare for an upcoming major meeting in June in Nigeria with
the goal of advancing the concept and practice of MIL further. They are
collectively calling this particular initiative the Global Forum for
Partnerships on Media and Information Literacy (GFPMIL). For more
