Hi,,
RESOLVE is to reduce distortions by segmented EPI. It is good if you want
to look at artifact-laden areas right on the scanner.
MB is great to speed up your acquisition and for whole-brain DWI with lots
of directions. Cheeck out FSL's eddy and topup to correct for distortions
here.

PS: The is no optimum for the b´number of dirs, b-value, voxel size and
number of B0. It all depends on your questions.
