ANNUAL POSTGRADUATE WORKSHOP 2013: PLACES STILL AVAILABLE
Publishing and disseminating your research

This is a great opportunity for postgraduates to learn more about getting their ideas out there – through press and broadcasting, social media and community engagement, as well as academic publishing. There’ll be a range of speakers, along with practical advice and lively discussions.
Speakers now confirmed include:
· Madeleine Hatfield, Managing Editor, RGS-IBG journals
· Tobias Denskus, international development blogger
· Michael Addelman, Media Officer, University of Manchester
· Sara Parker, “Our Village Our Life” project co-ordinator
· Postgraduate students talking about their first-hand experiences
The workshop is on Friday 26 April 2013 at the University of Manchester. Arrival from 9.30 for a 10.00 start, workshop ends at 17.30. University Place building, Room 3.204

Places cost £12 including refreshments and lunch. Optional drinks and dinner not included in fee.

Participants must be members of DARG but can join when they book. Annual student subscription is £2. Membership is free to RGS-IBG Postgraduate Fellows.
