POSTGRADUATE FEE-WAIVER (2013-2014)
THE SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES, LITERATURE, CULTURE & COMMUNICATION
UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK
One fee waiver (with EU fees)** will be available for the Academic Year
2013-2014 for each of the following programmes:
* Structured PhD in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages)
* MA in Modern Language Studies
One or two additional fee waivers (with EU fees)** will also be offered
across the following programmes:
* Grad Dip/MA in Journalism
* MA in English
* MA in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies
* Graduate Certificate in Technical Writing by distance learning
* MA in Technical Communication and E-Learning
* MA in TESOL
* MA in Irish German Studies
* Structured PhD in New Media and Film
* Structured PhD in Applied Language Studies
Applications are invited from all prospective postgraduate students,
including current under-graduate students due to graduate in 2013.
Applicants must include ALL of the following:
1. A completed Postgraduate Studies Application Form

of acceptance.
2. Original transcripts for all third-level degrees.
3. Two academic references.
4. A 200-word statement outlining reasons for applying for the
fee-waiver.
Applications will be assessed on a range of guidelines including the
following:
* No other waiver/scholarship
* All entry criteria as outlined in the respective programmes
are met
* Quality of the proposal complicit with the research expertise
of the School/section
