User-Centred Design (UCD) 2013 is a conference running in London on the 8th and 9th of November. The conference will attract delegates and speakers from all areas of user-centred design, nationally and internationally, with talks and workshops on digital, product and service design.
In order to run the conference successfully we need a group of enthusiastic, committed and hard-working volunteers. We are looking to recruit current students who would like to gain free entry to the conference in exchange for assisting in the day-to-day running of the conference. Activities will include
- preparation the day before the conference
- greeting delegates and speakers
- helping with audio-visual set-up and running in the venue
- ensuring sessions run to time
- taking video and/or photographs to record the event
- offering assistance to delegates and speakers as required
If you think you would like to be involved in this event, now in its second year after a fantastic launch in 2012, please contact Ruth Sims [log in to unmask] explaining how you can offer assistance and why you should be chosen to take part.
