On Friday 17 May 2013, the joint research group on Mathematical
Methods in Reliability organises a meeting at Durham University,
on the topic `Uncertainty Quantification for Extremes'.
A preliminary programme and abstracts are now available from
http://maths.dur.ac.uk/stats/people/fc/LMS-Reliability.html
where you can also find some further details about this and
other future meetings organised by this joint research group,
which is partly sponsored by a Scheme 3 grant from the
London Mathematical Society. Note particularly a further meeting
at Brunel University on 31 May.
It is still possible to accommodate a few more presentations
at this lecture day (e.g. also short contributions or posters by
PhD students are very welcome!). Of course, you are also
welcome to attend without giving a presentation. Please also
contact me in this case (by 3 May) as we need to know the
number of attendants for catering. There will not be a fee
for attending.
