HI Jack,
We are currently having discussions with our risk management team about this as we use datix , We are looking at setting up a separate POCT field above the medical devices category. We also report incidents on our Q-pulse system. We also maintain an electronic error log which is categorised by error type. That way we can identify high levels of equipment failure, operator non-compliance etc and address issues early.
Thanks

Hi Jack
We also use the Trust reporting system - POCT is set up as a sub-category within the Medical Devices category of the reporting form.
Our Trust Risk Manager was very helpful with this

Hi Jack,
We are going to use the Trust Reporting system, Datix. We also use our lab system, Qpulse, where applicable, i.e. reporting internal audit NCNs, EQA issues, etc.
Happy to share POCT reporting sub - categories that we are currently designing for Datix.

Hi everybody
Just wanted to ask whether anybody has an Incident reporting system/mechanism dedicated for POCT ...separate from the general laboratory one.
If so, how do you run it?
I am looking into the possibility of designing one and its proving (as expected) to be quite a challen
