A vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Records Manager at the Parliamentary Archives.
This post is involved in a wide range of professional work and offers an excellent opportunity to participate in the delivery of a dynamic records management programme, to develop professional skills and undertake new challenges. Key responsibilities of the post include:
• Providing support to staff using the corporate electronic document and records management system (EDRMS);
• Assisting with the administration of the EDRMS, including maintenance of the corporate fileplan, access groups and disposal instructions, as well as monitoring system use and activity;
• Coordinating system reporting from Record Officers;
• Assisting with EDRMS testing, escalating issues when necessary;
• Providing specialist advice to staff of both Houses;
• Contributing to the drafting of records management guidance and factsheets;
• Participating in the development and delivery of training and inductions.
