Hello,
We are currently exploring the idea of developing a 'mobile classroom' approach for information literacy teaching and library training sessions. We're hoping this may be a way of enabling librarians to be less restricted by the limited nature of library training rooms and IT labs, and deliver more hands-on library sessions in teaching and lecture rooms rather than in the library.
Have any other academic libraries implemented anything similar or considered doing so? What devices have you purchased / used (iPads, android tablets, Ultabooks)? Have there been any practical issues involved?
If anyone is willing to share any experiences with us this would be invaluable! I'd be happy to summarise any findings for the mailing list.
Best wishes,
Anna
