Subject: The LISA Project - freelance interviewers required
Hi Mark
We are currently recruiting freelance interviewers for the LISA project and I wondered if you would mind helping by circulating the email below, and the attached job specification, on to anyone who might be interested in this work?
In addition, I wondered if there was any possibility of advertising the position on the CEEHD website?
Many thanks
Suzanne

Freelance interviewers required –
‘ Living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease: the experiences of adults of South Asian Origin’ (The LISA Project)
The Social Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of York is seeking to appoint experienced qualitative interviewers to work on a project looking at the experiences of adults of South Asian origin who have Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Interviewers will need to be able to work unsocial hours and to travel as research participants will choose when the interviews takes place, and whether they are by telephone or face-to -face (in their own home). It is important that some of our team of freelance interviewers are of South Asian origin and/or have experience of living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Being able to conduct interviews in a South Asian language would be an advantage but is not essential. We anticipate each interviewer will conduct between 5 and 10 interviews during all or part of the period June to October 2013.
Further information and details on how to apply is provided in the attached leaflet. The closing date for applications is Tuesday 16th April 2013. Interviews will be held in York on Wednesday 1 May 2013.
