Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates to join a thriving subject team. You will be a practicing journalist with demonstrable excellence in teaching and be expected to demonstrate experience of journalism across a number of platforms including broadcast (TV and Radio) as well as online.
The role will involve the delivery of practical modules across the Journalism suite of courses and contribute to general undergraduate teaching.
A first degree in a cognate discipline and the willingness to obtain a Masters degree within 12 months of appointment, and a PhD thereafter, are essential.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education.
