Join us at the Creative Enterprise Conference
Thursday 2nd May 2013
The Creative Enterprise 2013 Conference organised by Birmingham City University’s School of Media, brings together creative industry policy makers, cultural organisations, freelancer consultants and creative enterprise educators. The event aims to facilitate a conversation on the theme of innovation and entrepreneurship for the cultural sector.
Collaborations between higher education and creative and cultural organisations will provide insights into current trends, new ideas and future possibilities.
Confirmed speakers include Ruth Leary who will discuss her work on the NESTA funded Happenstance project and Clayton Shaw of Sampad who will present his experience of developing a sustainable cultural enterprise with the Creative Bridge team.
Throughout the conference, the relationships between Higher Education and the Creative Industries will be highlighted with the aim of encouraging further dialogue and opportunities.
