The University of Brighton’s Doctoral College is inviting applications from around the world for studentships starting in the 2013/14 academic year.
The studentships fund research in a range of social sciences <http://www.brighton.ac.uk/researchstudy/2013studentships/social-sciences/> and arts and humanities topics.<http://www.brighton.ac.uk/researchstudy/2013studentships/arts-and-humanities/>
Each studentship is valued at £58,500 over three years and covers annual tuition fees as well as a contribution towards living expenses.
Closing date for applications is 4pm, 11 April 2013.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership. The field includes film and TV production, journalism, radio, photography, creative writing, publishing, interactive media and the web; and it includes higher education for media practice as well as for media studies.
