Falmouth University would like to invite you to the Sino UK HE Symposium on Creative Content for New Media, to be held in collaboration with The British Council on Thursday 14 March 2013.
This one day symposium will examine the challenges and possibilities presented by new approaches to working with creative media content and mediatised environments. The day will include consideration of innovative practice in journalism, animation, music, social media and photography. Speakers include Professor Li Benqian, Dr Larry Lynch and Dr ZhanZhi'an and panelists from Sun Yat-sen University, Nanjing University, Guangdong University of Business Studies, East China Normal University and Shanghai Jiaotong University. There will be a focus on collaborative and partnership opportunities between China and the UK.
This event offers the chance to discuss and build relations with leading Chinese academics within the fields of new media.
The free symposium includes lunch and an early evening reception.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education.
