Thanks Stephen, interesting take, I haven't seen this video before. A big promise from AHRC....
Gao Jun, in regard to your question, in my own research on the myth of the employer in the 21st century, I found a paper from the Scandinavian Journal of Management quite helpful. It applies Foucault in the analysis of the eschatological mission of the creative entrepreneur. (Bent Meier Sørensen (2008) The entrepreneur as savior in the age of creativity, Scand. J. Mgmt. 24, 85–93 ). I have a pdf, if you wanted to have a look.
Best wishes,
Marta

Not critical material, but the new AHRC video for its Strategy 2013-2018 http://www.ahrc.ac.uk/News-and-Events/Watch-and-Listen/Pages/AHRC-Strategy-2013-2018.aspx (at about 08:18) recruits Steve Jobs to the message.

Subject: [MECCSA] academic inquiry
Hi,
I'm currently doing research on the cultural impact of Apple and Jobs myth. The research concerns the relationship between technological cult and personality cult of technocrat. If anyone has any interesting critical material or point, please share it with me. Thanks.
