**Reflective Writing for Chartership Workshop**
The Mitchell Library, Glasgow
http://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/libraries/the-mitchell-library/Pages/home.aspx
Date and time: 12:30 - 16.30 Wednesday 8th May 2013
In both our professional and personal lives we are able to learn most
effectively by reflecting on activities/experiences, evaluating them
and applying that knowledge to other activities/experiences.
This workshop consists of presentations and exercises. It is suitable
for Chartership, Re-validation and Certification candidates, and
indeed anyone who wishes to reflect more effectively on their personal
and professional development. There will be a chance to look at
Chartership portfolios, more specifically evaluative statements, as
well as discuss and share experiences of reflection in the Chartership
process.
Learning outcomes:
- To understand and recognise:
* Why we reflect
* What reflective practice is
* What reflective writing is
* How to write effectively
- To practice reflective writing
