Dear Pradeepkumar A. P.
I am certainly no expert in the field of crowd dynamics or its literature, but I wondered if you were aware of the UK guidance on crowd behaviour that was developed by Leeds University for the Cabinet Office in 2009?
The link to the guidance is here:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/understanding-crowd-behaviours-documents
Looking at the 'Supporting evidence' document at that link (which discusses lessons identified from crowd disasters inc. Haj), I notice that the .pdf appears to be slightly corrupted, so I'll send you an old copy I have of that one direct.
Best wishes
Hugh

Subject: Stampedes
Hello list: I am compiling a list of human stampede-related papers. I am especially interested in stampedes associated with pilgrimages like the Haj, Kumbh Mela, Sabarimala, and also sites with high risk, like the Pongala festival in Trivandrum, in Kerala, in India.
Could the list members point me to such resources, especially free content, and not-so-obvious sites where some of these may reside.
I can point to a content of my own at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3f8ekhC_Rm-dGgtZkJmbjVRSlE/edit?usp=sharing
