Dear all,
You are warmly invited to participate in an upcoming day-long workshop in Vancouver which will focus on depictions of madness, addiction and crime in Canadian documentary films. The workshop will include some of the leading voices working on these topics – it promises to be a unique opportunity for dialogue and a very exciting event:
REEL LIVES: MADNESS, ADDICTION AND CRIME IN CANADA
This workshop takes place on Saturday, May 11, 2013. 9am to 5pm. SFU Harbour Centre, Labatt Hall, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Join us for a critical dialogue about depictions of madness, addiction and crime in Canadian documentary films. Speakers will include Lanny Beckman, Janis Cole, Megan Davies, Mona Gleason, Harry Karlinsky, Coleen Rajotte, Nettie Wild and Ezra Winton.
