Just wanted to say thanks enormously to everyone who replied on this - it does seem like there are loads of things going on, and that this sort of stuff will become far more visible in four or five years. The newsletter I'm writing mostly focuses on policy with innovation as a second order interest, but I'm going to at least post links to all the projects you've mentioned, with a few lines about them, so those who are interested know where to go for expertise.
I particularly love the idea of being able to download fossil blueprints online, and the project where a sadly armless Durga got her missing body parts back in the 3D printed version. And it's nice to see Ironbridge Gorge at the beating heart of a potentially new industrial revolution!
Many thanks indeed,
Kate
