Dear All,
On the “Call for Abstracts” webpage of the Meeting there is a list of topics which
I guess the Organisers intend to use as proxy for meeting sessions.
I think this list in UNREASONABLE at this early stage.
I wish to remind that the biannual Tunicate Meeting should be meant to update the
Tunicate Community about the advances in every field of Tunicate Biology.
For example, I think most of us would be interested in hearing a resume
of the Kyoto meeting and the latest news on Tunicate genomics.
I am firmly convinced that there should no topic restriction whatsoever.
Then, after April 30th, based on the abstracts received, the Organising
Committee is welcome to propose a list of Meeting sessions.
Therefore, I ask to Organisers to remove that topic list from the web page.
Hope to have feedback from the Community on this issue.
With best wishes,
Giorgio
