Maya,
your choice of words ("regress out") is similar to the processing used
in resting state fMRI. If this is what you want to do, one framework
available for spm is the REST toolbox (www.restfmri.net). There are
routines in there that you can use to do that. If not, I think the lack
of answers may be due to the fact that we do not know why you want to do
this...??
