Dear Dr. Koch or any other researcher who knows J-graph software,
I am now considering teaching my architecture students to use j-graph, aiming at help them to understand the complexity of building and to do some mini research. I would like to introduce the “Justified graph” to them, as an advanced tool comparing to “bubble graph”, which is frequently used by architects in the beginning stage of design.
Therefore I tested Jass software. It is very handy compare to the one I used many years ago in my AAS course on Mac. But there are several questions I need your help.
1. I cannot open the “help” page.
2. I cannot use the “view categories” tool
3. Is it possible to color the nodes by its integration value automatically?
4. Is there any new version of Jass released after 2007? The Jass software I used now is from the following link:
http://www.nada.kth.se/projects/proj03/SUX/tmpRoot/release/
Thanks very much for your help!
P.S. And If anybody already use Jass to teach architecture students, please share your experience with me, appreciated! I have this strong feeling that it is a good tool to do analysis and mini research, and it's potential is undermined by the powerful depthmap.
