Dear all,
The Biochemical Society, in partnership with the Society of Biology, wishes to appoint a full-time Science Policy Officer (full time for one year with possibility of extension, £25k p.a.)
We are seeking a graduate of biological sciences or equivalent with demonstrable analytical skills, excellent oral and written English, the ability to work to deadlines and to facilitate and influence dialogue with a range of people, including senior scientists and policymakers, and with an understanding of the policy environment. A higher degree, communication and/or policy experience would be valuable but not essential for the right candidate. The Officer will be employed by the Biochemical Society and work with the Society of Biology to contribute to a broad range of activities in support of the Societies’ policy development.
Closing date: 9am, 04 March 2013
