Hi Damien. I am confused why a sound level meter would be of any use. Say if the noise levels in the room is not consistent through the day?? Am I missing something?

Hi Tracy, for occupational noise a type 1 or type 2 sound level meter is

acceptable so would recommend complying with this. The cheapest one I

have found is from Casella CEL240 - £160 to hire or £270 to buy

excluding calibration.

Or you are welcome to borrow mine for a day if that helps as long as you

can pick up and return.
