With regard to wearing gloves - within this procedure the gloves are
predominantly to protect you from blood splashes rather than protect the
client. Good technique should not result in a blood splash and if it did you
have identified that you would wash your hands. I can see why a client may
flag you not washing your hands but you have justified that by your use of
bacterial wipes - could you also use alcohol gel too.
