STFC Doctoral Studentship

Background
The studentship is available to start in September 2013. The screening of applications will begin after 14th February but will remain open for applications after this date.
Applications are invited for a STFC funded studentship in the Department of Mathematical Science at City University London. The student will work in the area of Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics under the direction of Dr Lara Silvers in one of her current research areas, which include astrophysical magnetohydrodynamics (e.g., dynamo theory, turbulent diffusion, buoyancy, magnetoconvection) and mixing in stars and planets.
