Hi Alex,
Flatbed scanners, larger than A3 are very rare and therefore expensive. Some
book scanners are very good at digitising flat artwork though they are also
expensive.
I have used the Zeutschel OS1200 which can digitise both bound and flat
reflective artwork up to A1. It can also OCR the scans and produce multi
page PDF files if desired. Zeutschel scanners are not cheap but they are
quick and relatively straight forward to use. The UK distributor is
