Hi Julie,
I am sending this message on behalf of a colleague who isn't yet a member of the list. Please contact her directly if you want more information.
Best wishes,

Dear Julie,
We have been using the OALA proxy for several months now.
It is fairly straightforward to configure. Most of the key databases have been preconfigured which means that you can just drag and drop the configurations into your local list and then publish them. Any that are not in the preconfigured list can be added locally. The list of preconfigured resources is a useful reference when constructing your own local links.
I have had problems with a few resources eg SciFinder and Prola, but most have been fine. The OALA proxy is not as well developed as EZProxy, but EduServ have been responsive to the issues I have reported, so we hope to see them resolved in the next upgrade.
Eduserv are very helpful, so if you have any problems you can log them with their support.
I hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Ruth

Subject: Re: Trouble configuring EZProxy as a service provider
Hi,
We are just starting the process of moving from OAMD to OALA and don't have ezproxy. As OALA now has an integrated proxy, is it troublesome to configure and get working?
Thanks,
Julie
