Hi all,
I would like to introduce myself. I am the interim Service Officer for CASH (Current Awareness Service for Health) and we are currently looking for new contributors.
CASH aims to keep health professionals up-to-date with new developments for the benefit of patient care and improved decision making. It is a collaborative service provided by librarians from around England who monitor and capture content from across 3 broad sectors - Primary Care, Secondary Care and Mental Health. Content is added to the CASH Database and is made available to search or be streamed as a newsfeed. Newsfeeds are also available to subscribe to as a daily email alert.
Here is the link to the web-page http://www.tin.nhs.uk/welcome/keeping-up-to-date/
We currently have gaps in contributions in the following important categories: long term conditions, later life and learning disabilities so if these areas are of particular interest we would be very keen to hear from you.
If you would like to get involved please get in touch. If you have any questions about the service I would be pleased to answer them.
