Hi all
We looked into this as part of the Jisc-funded mobile library community support project. One of our best practice guides focused on providing access to resources via mobile devices, see: http://mlibraries.jiscinvolve.org/wp/pathways-to-best-practice-guides/providing-access-to-resources-via-mobile-devices/
I spent some time looking at different suppliers to see what they offered and updated the wiki information at http://www.libsuccess.org/index.php?title=M-Libraries#Publishers_offering_databases_for_mobile_devices (though this was completed last summer so I'm sure it has changed since then). I definitely agree that it is a good idea to collaborate on these things rather than each trying to do so individually, and I would recommend using the Library Success wiki as an existing resource rather than creating a new one.
At Birmingham City University, we have a mobile technologies working group within the library and one of the current projects is mobile access to resources. One of the areas we will be looking at within that project is updating the wiki.
Hope this information helps - would be great to have a living resource we can work together on to keep up-to-date.
Jo.
