Hi Jeremy,
I tried to re-join about 2 weeks ago, but since I had previously used my STFC email address with Evo it complained that I have an existing account. How can we get our previous account deleted? Unfortunately I only have a single UK academic email address.
Regards,
Andrew.

Anyone who did not join the Janet(UK) community before January, or is new and did not have an account, can register with SeeVogh and get a new account. If their email address is a UK academic one then the application automatically assigns the user to Janet(UK) for free. I know this because I just setup a new account to test it.
Regarding Vidyo, there is a version in development that integrates the chat window with the main application. There is also a lot of other feedback that will improve it. The GDB has used it for many months but unfortunately it has pretty often had problems. Like most software it is maturing slowly but it is useable; I think we need to be versatile. If it would help we could seek to have a training session at GridPP30.

I had emails from EVO to warn me to register with JANET (which I did) - all existing accounts ought to have received an email on this subject (I received two because I have both personal and generic EVO accounts). If some accounts didn't receive the email then I agree that was bad organisation by EVO.
