Yes, we originally got the fslview distribution from NeuroDebian, but it is broken.
When we realized that, we tried to go from the source available on the FSL site, but that has the problems that we reported and that you were aware of.
Should I write to NeuroDebian?

Subject: Re: [FSL] strange behavior in fslview on Ubuntu systems
Stafano,
FSLview v4.x on Ubuntu uses Qwt5 and Qt4.
Sadly the Qt4 version will not run properly on all platforms, consequently we have only distributed FSLview 4 on Ubuntu. It sounds to me like you have the FSLview 3.x sources (Qt3/Qwt4) which will not compile on Ubuntu. Given that the correct FSLview should come from NeuroDeb I guess you should also be getting the source deb from there?

For example, we move in the coronal slices and we see the axial view changing the volume number of the tract image, resulting in a tract present on the left of the image in the coronal image and on the right on the axial. This is a pretty crazy behavior for an image display program.
Using FSLview 4.x, on all platforms I have access to (incl. Ubuntu), I have been unable to duplicate the behaviour described. Can you confirm that the bug is stable and repeatable? Perhaps, if you're willing, we could use a Skype and/or TeamViewer session to look at it?
