Hello,
I'm currently trying to run symmetric tracking between two fairly large cortical masks in a macaque scan, and I'm running into problems - I'm getting no result, the waypoint file says 0,0, and the fdt.paths file shows no result.
I've run the same analysis successfully many times in our chimpanzee scans.
I have tried to isolate the problem by testing other tractography runs - I'm able to successfully get tracking from single subcortical (amygdala) or single cortical (V1, for example) masks. However, when those same cortical masks which work singly are both used for a symmetric run, no dice. I've also tried extending our cortical masks well into the white matter, to the point where they overlap tracking from single-mask runs - suggesting that loss of signal near the gray matter boundary isn't the problem.
The resolution on the T1s is .5 mm^3 and for the DTIs is 1.1 mm^3.
Has anybody run into this before and do they have any suggestions?
Thanks for your time,
Katherine
