we have checked and they are very similar. If I remember correctly the new method is slightly more accurate. I would not worry about mixing the two UNLESS for example you are doing a longitudinal study where you have used the old version for the first time point for all subjects and now plan to use the new version for the 2nd time point for all subjects. I.e. as long as the versions are reasonably balanced across your regressor of interest you should be fine.
