Is it not the case that you can go in to Edit > Preferences > Display Fields and then deselect it?

Dear all,
Can anyone shed any light on how to do this? I can get everything *but* the ratings field to disappear by using Hide Empty Fields.
This is in both the Reference tab and in individual records… Greg
