So far as I remember, Geraldine, the earlier discussion mostly sprang from Bonney's attack.
Certainly I wasn't then aware of Ben's excellent response (maybe others were, Tim A. seemed to imply it). It strikes me as a powerful and challenging piece, besides its illuminating remarks about Cobbing WF and Veer.
