I have just taken over the Editorship of the China Policy Institute blog
at the University of Nottingham
http://blogs.nottingham.ac.uk/chinapolicyinstitute/. I would like to
bring membersâ attention to this resource and to alert members
(academics and grad students) to the possibility of contributing. The
CPI blog publishes analytical and commentary pieces on contemporary
events in and relating to China. We have an established audience of
fellow academics, media and policy folk.
Under my Editorship, we will be running regular thematic âspecial
issuesâ (currently on China-Japan relations) supplemented by timely
responses to current events. Upcoming special issues in the immediate
future will focus on cyber-security, the NPC meeting, the
anniversary of Ma Ying-jeouâs re-election. If you have ideas for the
focus or organization of a special issue please get in touch.
Our contributors include well known China specialists and academics from
around the world, in addition to the insights of practitioners (e.g.
those in the diplomatic service). I hope to increase the participation
of PhD students, as this expertise is under-represented generally. I
hope that colleagues will visit the blog and get in touch with me
directly if you would like to contribute. Colleagues on Facebook and
Twitter can find us at https://www.facebook.com/ChinaPolicyInstitute and
https://twitter.com/UoNCPI. Â
Thanks.
