Subject: tenure track job in business / economic history
I am writing to draw your attention to a tenure-track position at
Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. We are a relatively new
and rapidly growing history department looking to hire a business or
economic historian at the assistant professor level. We invite
applications from scholars working in areas of or related to business or
economic history, history of capitalism, history of work and labor,
history of consumer societies, or history of economic thought, or
political economy. The geographical specialization is also open (that
is, candidates would not necessarily have to specialize in Asia or Asian
topics).
Here is a link to the full description of the position as advertised:
http://history.hss.ntu.edu.sg/jobopportunities/Pages/Home.aspx
I would be most grateful if you could circulate this is anyone who you
think might be interested, especially if you have students who might fit
the job.
I would be happy to answer any questions about the position, NTU, or
Singapore.
Best regards,
Hallam Stevens.
