Call for Papers
?Algorithms and Models for Complex Natural Systems?
special issue in NATURAL COMPUTING JOURNAL
*Deadline*: 24 March 2013
Dear Colleagues,
we are pleased to invite you to submit an original manuscript to the
special issue that will be published in Natural Computing.
This special issue aims at involving research works on both
mathematical modelling or empirical investigation into algorithm
performance and complexity, and parallel, distributed, computational
models for complex systems dynamics. General methods of
(bio)informatics, synthetic biology, and AIS will be welcome,
especially if based on principles and mechanisms observed in natural
complex systems.
Main topics include: Bio-/Immune- inspired algorithms, with in silico,
in vitro and in vivo implementation; Membrane, molecular, and
metabolic computing; New (biological, genomic) applications of
concepts from theoretical computer science.
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers on any
topic related to the aims of the special issue. Submitted papers
should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration
for publication elsewhere. All submissions will undergo a blind
peer-review process.
Manuscripts should be formatted in according to Natural Computation
instructions (see
http://www.springer.com/computer/theoretical+computer+science/journal/11047),
and submitted through the Editorial Manager of the journal at the link
http://www.editorialmanager.com/naco/
During the submission steps, please, take care to choose as article
type "SI:NaturalComplexSystems"
We hope that you will take this opportunity, and we are greatly
looking forward to receive numerous exciting results!
