Hi Margaret,
Many of these are merely forwarded messages and so it is not always possible to spend time researching what the acronyms stand for. I have no idea what IBG is, but someone with an interest in submitting a paper in this area might well know.

Dear Colleagues,
It would be helpful, when posting announcements such as these, to expand on the acronyms. Although reading down the message reveals that 'RGS' is 'Royal Geographical Society', what on earth is 'IBG'?
This is a general issue, not confined to this post.
Thank you (all) for your future consideration.
Margaret
