Dear users,
I would like to perform the simple task of transferring an anatomical atlas from the MNI space to the PET space. To this aim my plan is:
1) coregister the summed PET to the individual MRI thus estimating the transformation T1
2) normalize the MRI to the T1 template thus estimating the transformation T2
3) compose T1 with T2 with SPM thus obtaining T3; invert T3 and use inv(T3) to map the atlas into the PET space.
However, I am already having many problems.
a) When I coregister I am not able to generate any .mat file containing the transformation
b) when I normalize the MRI to the MNI space the only way to obtain a 91x109x91 image is to artifically change the bounding box (and even so,how? There are many options) but I don’t know if this is correct. Alternatively, I was thinking of using the .mat file generated as output of the ‘segmentation’option as T2 but the problem of having a normalized MRI of size 91x109x91 still remains.
