Programmer's File editor is just a (rather good) text editor, so the data must already have been extracted.

Hi David,
I remember using a piece of freeware called Programmers File Editor to edit some Superfile data into a more usable shape. What I'm not sure of is whether the file was in Superfile's native format or just data extracted from Superfile. Sorry it was 10+ years ago. Still it might be worth a try.
