Thanks for the reply. I will certainly let this list know when the
updated LTI connector has been released with group support. It is
currently being tested by project members, but I expect this to be
complete within the next month.
The current implementation performs the groups sync at the same time as
a memberships sync. The memberships sync is currently a manual process
from a menu option within each module. However, there is no reason why
this code could not be implemented as a cron job so that it runs
automatically on a regular basis.

provides a detailed summary of how the process has been implemented. As
WebPA creates a copy of a collection when it is used for an assessment,
the process does not affect assessments (in the same way that manually
changing a collection does not affect an assessment which is based on
that collection).
